Structured interviewing; in an effort to create a consistent interview framework, we ask all candidates for a particular job the same set of questions.
Several team members will meet with you on the day of your interview to help with providing a realistic job preview.

FAQ's Field Positions
What should I wear?
Interviews can already be stressful, so we want you to wear what makes you feel most comfortable. At Brink’s our policy for non-uniformed employees is “Dress for Your Day”. This “Dress for Your Day” policy means that employees can choose what they want to wear to work each day based on their schedule.
What do I need to do when I arrive?
When you arrive to the facility you will be scanned in by a member of the security team. You will need to sign in and show identification.
What do I need to bring with me?
A valid photo ID is required to enter the building. If you would like to bring a copy of your resume, you are welcome to, but the Hiring Manager will be provided a copy of the resume and application from the recruiting team.
What should I expect after the interview?
Your recruiter will reach out to discuss your interview, any further questions you might have, and outline the next steps in the process. We don’t want to keep candidates waiting, our goal is to have all offers initiated within 24 – 72 hours of the interview. After an offer is signed, a recruiting coordinator will work with you on completing the background check, drug screening, and DOT requirements if applicable.
Step-by-Step guide to applying at Brink's
If you have found a position of interest, click apply on our career site. If this is the first time you are applying, you will need to create an account using a valid email address.
Answer additional questions so we can better assess your skill set.
A recruiter will reach out to you to do a brief phone screen to review Brink’s offerings, position overview and answer any questions.
An in person interview will be scheduled at the work location you desire with the hiring manager. The interview should serve as a mutual benefit.
Let’s make it official! Offers are extended via telephone by a recruiter or in-person by the hiring manager. If you are not selected for the role you interviewed for, you will receive communication from one of our recruiters.
Once you have accepted an offer, you will receive an email from Accurate with instructions to begin your background process. You will need to fill in personal information and submit.
Drug Screening and Medicals
An email is sent to schedule an appointment at a nearby approved clinic. This action needs to be completed within 48 hours of receiving the information.
Behavioral Interview Overview
The Interview experience is a 3-step structured interview to include:
Introduction: Review resume/previous job duties
Behavioral Interview: Role specific questions and realistic job preview.
Closing: Allow candidate to ask questions and meet with additional members of management.
Interview questions are all linked to a specific competency
Be prepared for probing questions to be used as a follow up question

6 Tips from Recruiters
- Be sure to offer a firm handshake, make eye contact, and smile!
- Be ready to discuss your skills and how they relate to the position that you are applying for.
- Ensure your email address is correct when creating your profile.
- Use a password that is easy to remember.
- Ensure to go complete all task in your inbox as soon as possible.
- Be five minutes early to your interview.
- Make sure to attend your medical appointments on time.
- Keep your resume to 1 to 2 pages maximum. Only include the last 5 years of work experience.
- List the most recent job experience at the top of your resume- include years of employment.
- Read the job description thoroughly – highlight on resume experience that transitions over to the job you are applying for.

Phil Tomco, CIT Branch Manager – Phoenix, Ariz.
Over the past 20 years, my incredible career journey with Brink’s that has taken me from the West to the East Coast, and now back home to Arizona. I’ve come full circle in my Brink’s career and learned so much in my roles from Driver, Messenger, Trainer, Route Logistics Manager to Branch Manager. My Big Break was accepting the Branch Manager role in Brooklyn, N.Y., and leading that tremendous operation. As a Veteran of the U.S. Marines, I’m proud to work for Brink’s. If you work hard every day, prove your talent and deliver results, you’ll be surprised at where the opportunities here will take you.

Ryan Shannon – Branch Manager – Louisville, Ky.
I’ve had multiple opportunities within Brink's and Brink's Global Services that have allowed me to travel all over the country and work with many outstanding people. All said, I would have to say that my Brink’s Big Break was in 2003, when a branch manager asked me to apply for a driver position while I was delivering office supplies to the branch.
What I enjoy most about Brink’s is the people. The relationships that are made not only with our coworkers, but with our customers is what helps keep our business running every day.

Damaris Morales – CIT Manager – Fort Myers, Florida
Prior to Brink’s, I was a bank teller in Puerto Rico. When I moved to Florida in 1999, I had the opportunity to become a teller at the Brink’s Orlando branch. From there, I transitioned into various supervisory and management positions
My Brink’s Big Break was when I became the Branch Manager in Fort Myers, Florida. This role allowed me to apply all the knowledge I had acquired throughout my experience with the company. I enjoy being able to teach others and help them earn achievements.

Toccara Price – HR Manager, Region 9 – Atlanta, Ga.
Before joining Brink's, I was a customer service manager at a grocery store chain where I prepared the Brink's deposits for pick-up. I then began my career with Brink’s in 2002 when I was hired as a Cash Logistics Processor in Atlanta.
Following that role, I held several positions with the company which included – Secretary, Administrative Admin and HR Coordinator. My Brink’s Big Break was in 2016, when I became the Human Resource Manager for District 5 (Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana).
I enjoy working at Brink’s because the company has always provided opportunities for growth. I have been fortunate to work with managers and peers who have supported my personal growth and professional development during my 19 years with the company.

Christopher Sherman, CIT Branch Manager – Plainview, New York
Before joining Brink’s, I was a part-time Driver/Guard for Dunbar Armored. Following the Brink’s acquisition of Dunbar in August 2018, I saw tremendous opportunity for a career beyond the part-time position I held at the time.
My Brink’s Big Break came in October 2019, when I transitioned to my current role as CIT Branch Manager in Plainview, New York. In this role, I’m able to utilize my previous expertise in national sales and operational leadership from companies, such as Hewlett-Packard, AT&T and i2 Technologies. Brink’s has a wealth of opportunity for those looking to advance within the company. If you see an opportunity, go for it! It just might be your big break!
My Brink’s Big Break:
Kim Watts, Director - Operational Training (US), COSC - Coppell, TX
Over my 20 years with Brink’s, I’ve been able to grow through various positions with the company. My first role was in 1998, as an ATM Messenger, and I transitioned to Branch Trainer in Cincinnati the following year. I learned so much from being on the frontline and serving customers every day. My Brink’s Big Break was in 2010 when I was named Director of Operational Training, a role that uses all of my skills and challenges me daily. I’m continuing to grow as a leader at Brink’s, and still find time to compete in mud runs and obstacle courses every year!

We currently partner with the Hiring our Heroes Organization working with transitioning service members entering the civilian workforce. Brink’s participates in the Corporate Fellowship Program where we provide transitioning service members with training and hands-on experience.
The Corporate Fellowship Program is a 12 week program held 3 times a year in 16 locations around the country.
Fellows complete on-the-job training with their host company 4 days a week.
At the end of each week, fellows attend a “leadership huddle”.
At the end of the 12 week program, potential employment offers may be available.
As well as the Military Spouse Fellowship Program providing military spouses with professional training and hands-on experience and professional development.
The military spouse fellowship is a 6-week program to help military spouses quickly build their network and gain job experience.
